Website & Care Terms
Version 1 · Effective 25 October 2026
These terms apply to business clients purchasing website builds or hosting and care from Louis Gallimore trading as ORIGIN Agency UK, 412 Reddish Road, Stockport, SK5 7AA. Contact hello@originagency.uk.
Your written client order or accepted proposal records your package, actual prices, scope, delivery arrangements and agreed service start date. A specific variation agreed in that order takes precedence over these standard terms. Payment does not add any service or fee that you have not ordered. These terms are for business purchases; contact us before ordering for personal use.
Version 1 · Effective 25 October 2026. Permanent copy of this version.
1 Website packages and payment
| Package | One-off build | Monthly care | Website scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| Launch | £299 | £49 | One page, up to six sections |
| Business | £499 | £79 | Up to five pages |
| Signature | £799 | £99 | Up to eight pages |
The client order identifies the package and price actually purchased. These are separate build and care charges. Monthly fees are not instalments towards the build. ORIGIN is not currently VAT registered and no VAT is currently charged.
The client sees and approves the agreed preview before paying the build fee. The build fee is payable before launch. The preview is limited to the scope recorded in the client order and is not a promise of a complete production-ready website before payment. Build revisions are unlimited within the agreed build scope. Additional scope requires a separately approved quote.
2 Care start and monthly billing
Care begins on the agreed launch date recorded in the client order. The first monthly fee is paid on that date, with further fees collected monthly in advance on the corresponding billing date. If that day does not exist in a month, billing falls on the last day of that month.
The first payment link should be completed on the agreed care start date, because it charges immediately. If a different date is needed, contact ORIGIN to arrange it before paying. Care continues monthly until cancelled under section 4. There is no minimum term beyond the current paid monthly period.
3 Hosting and care scope
Care covers hosting, SSL, technical upkeep, maintenance and fixes for the existing ORIGIN-built website. It includes unlimited requests for changes to text, photos, prices, services, links and layouts on existing pages. Requests are completed one at a time; unlimited requests do not mean unlimited simultaneous work or new development.
New pages, complete redesigns, online shops, portals and new functionality are quoted separately. Premium domains, domain renewals after any included first year, and third-party fees are additional costs. ORIGIN will identify additional charges for approval before incurring them on the client's behalf.
ORIGIN confirms expected timing after reviewing each request. There is no guaranteed edit turnaround, uptime commitment or round-the-clock support unless separately agreed in writing. The client supplies authorised content and access reasonably needed to carry out the agreed work.
4 Cancellation
The client may cancel through the Stripe billing portal or by emailing hello@originagency.uk before the next renewal. There is no cancellation fee and no additional notice period. Hosting and care continue until the end of the period already paid for, with no subsequent renewal charge.
A cancellation received after a renewal has been collected normally takes effect at the end of that newly paid period. If a charge was taken after a cancellation made before renewal, ORIGIN will correct and refund that charge. The client can retain and move the paid-for website under sections 7 and 8.
5 Refunds and service problems
Cancellation or a change of mind alone does not create a partial-month care refund because service remains available until the paid period ends. Duplicate or incorrect charges will be corrected and refunded. If ORIGIN ends a paid care period early without a client breach, ORIGIN will refund the unused part of that period.
There is no automatic change-of-mind refund after an approved build has been delivered. If ORIGIN cannot deliver the agreed scope, the parties will arrange correction or an appropriate refund for undelivered work. The client should report problems to hello@originagency.uk so ORIGIN can investigate and propose a resolution.
These provisions do not exclude any applicable rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6 Failed payments
Stripe may retry failed payments and send payment-update or authentication reminders. The client remains responsible for valid billing details and any amount properly due.
ORIGIN may suspend hosting and care when payment remains overdue for at least 14 days, but only after giving at least seven days' written warning stating the proposed suspension date. Suspension does not automatically delete the website or transfer ownership to ORIGIN.
7 Ownership and licences
On full payment of the agreed build fee, ORIGIN will transfer the copyright and other transferable intellectual property rights it owns in the bespoke website deliverables created specifically for the client. The transfer is recorded in a separate assignment signed by ORIGIN, normally in the client order. ORIGIN will obtain any necessary contributor permissions. Checkout acceptance alone is not the signed assignment.
The client's supplied materials remain the client's property. ORIGIN retains its pre-existing and reusable tools, templates, libraries and general development methods. To the extent ORIGIN-owned reusable material is included in the delivered website, ORIGIN grants the client a continuing, non-exclusive right to use, copy, host and modify that material as part of that website, including through a replacement provider. This right survives cancellation of care.
Third-party software, fonts, images, integrations and services remain subject to their own licences and charges; their ownership is not transferred by this agreement. The handover identifies material dependencies and any client accounts or replacement licences needed.
8 Leaving ORIGIN and standard handover
The build fee must be paid before rights in the bespoke deliverables transfer. For a paid-for build, one standard export of the website code, project assets and available client website data is included without an exit fee. ORIGIN also cooperates with transferring the client's domain to the client or its nominated provider.
The export does not include ORIGIN's shared infrastructure, internal tools, unrelated client data, shared account credentials or third-party licences that cannot be transferred. Where an integration needs a new account, licence or configuration, ORIGIN will identify it.
Moving the website to a new host, setting up a new deployment, rebuilding integrations, troubleshooting another provider's systems and other migration work are separate services and require an approved quote. ORIGIN will confirm handover timing after receiving the request and the information required for transfer. The client should request handover before the paid hosting period expires.
9 Domains and the end of hosting
Domains are registered in the client's name. A standard first-year domain registration is included only where agreed in the project scope. Premium domains, later renewals and third-party transfer charges are additional. Existing client-owned domains remain the client's property.
Hosting and care end when the final paid period expires. The client is responsible for arranging replacement hosting to avoid interruption. ORIGIN retains an export for 30 days after hosting ends, after which that export and remaining hosted website copies may be deleted. This retention period is not an extension of live hosting. Records that ORIGIN must retain for accounting or other lawful purposes are handled separately.
10 Changes to monthly prices
ORIGIN gives at least 30 days' written notice of a proposed monthly care price increase. A new price takes effect no earlier than a renewal after that notice period. The client may cancel before the new price applies.
11 Acceptance and records
We provide the client order or proposal and these terms before you order or pay. By accepting these terms at checkout, you confirm that you are authorised to purchase for the business named in your order and agree to these terms alongside your accepted order. Keep both documents together. A checkout receipt does not replace the agreed project scope or any required signed assignment.
The version accepted for your order remains the record of that agreement. Later website edits do not automatically replace it. Any agreed change to an existing order must be recorded in writing. Monthly price changes follow section 10.

Why we use it
Information is used to respond to enquiries, prepare and deliver requested work, operate authorised accounts, keep the website secure, improve the enquiry journey and meet legal obligations. Optional analytics and marketing measurement is used only after the relevant consent is given.
Services involved
The website is hosted on Vercel. Supabase supports the private workspace and enquiry records. Brevo may be used for enquiry email and contact handling. OpenAI processes messages sent to the public ORIGIN assistant. If enabled and accepted, Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Meta may process measurement data.
These providers process information under their own terms and may operate internationally. ORIGIN configures integrations to limit the data sent and does not intentionally send enquiry text, email addresses or phone numbers to browser analytics.
If you choose WhatsApp, your conversation takes place through WhatsApp under its own privacy terms. An optional WhatsApp number supplied in the enquiry form is stored with your contact details and chosen reply method so we can respond to that enquiry.
Retention and sharing
Information is kept only while it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, security, accounting, dispute handling or another legal requirement. It is shared with service providers that help operate the website and with professional or public authorities where legitimately required. ORIGIN does not sell personal information.
Your choices and rights
You can reject or change optional cookies at any time using “Cookie settings” on the Legal page. Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may also ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a copy of personal information. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Contacting a regulator
If you are in the UK, you can raise an unresolved data-protection concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office. ORIGIN would appreciate the opportunity to address the issue first.

Using this website
You may use the site to learn about ORIGIN, view selected work and make a genuine enquiry. Do not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorised access, overload its services, submit unlawful content or use automated means in a way that harms the service or other people.
Information and availability
ORIGIN aims to keep public information useful and accurate, but website content is general information rather than a guaranteed quote, result, timeline or professional legal, financial or medical advice. Features may change, pause or be withdrawn for maintenance, security or operational reasons.
The public AI assistant
The assistant explains public ORIGIN services and helps prepare an enquiry. Its answers are generated and can be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on them for high-stakes decisions or submit secrets, passwords, payment data or sensitive personal information. An assistant conversation does not create a client relationship or bind ORIGIN to a price, scope, timeline or result.
Intellectual property
The ORIGIN brand, site design, copy, software and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. You may view and share public page links for ordinary personal or business reference. Reproducing, reselling or presenting substantial parts as your own requires permission. Third-party names and materials remain their owners’ property.
Links and liability
Links to third-party services are provided for convenience and do not make ORIGIN responsible for those services. Nothing here excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, use of this public website is at your own risk and ORIGIN is not responsible for indirect loss caused solely by relying on general website content.
Changes
These terms may be updated when the website or relevant requirements change. The review date at the top shows the version currently published.
